Arugula Sweet-And-Spicy salad with dressing

This simply delicious and elegant salad recipe is from my mentor, John Pierre's book, The Pillars of Health! This salad is rich with flavor and texture.

Salad Ingredients:

2 cups Arugula

1Tbsp dried cranberries

2 Tbsp raw walnut pieces

1cup sprouts

1cup sweet potato (steamed and sliced)

Dressing Ingredients:

3 small tangerines, peeled

1 tsp miso paste (white, mellow miso)

2 dates (pitted) or approximately 2 Tbsp date syrup

dash of cayenne pepper (optional)


Combine dressing ingredients in a blender until creamy. Pour over salad and toss well. Enjoy!
