Peanut Butter and Chocolate Quinoa Porridge
Quinoa is a great idea anytime of day. It is gluten-free, usually grown organically, is technically a seed counts as a whole grain filled with fiber, protein and phytonutrients. This recipe can be served as a breakfast or as a tasty snack that may remind you of the flavor of sweetened breakfast cereals. Ingredients:
1 cup Plant-based milk
2 cups cooked quinoa
1 T maple syrup
1T cocoa powder
1 T PB2
Directions:
Have 2 cups cooked quinoa prepared
Bring the cup of plant-based milk to a boil
Reduce heat and add in the quinoa, maple syrup, cocoa powder and pB2.
Cook uncovered, stir every minute for 5 minutes and enjoy.

Quinoa is non-GMO, gluten-free and usually grown organically. Even though technically not a cereal grain, it still counts as a whole-grain food.
