A Fruity Cobbler
This is a regular go to for me since it requires very few ingredients and is easy to assemble. It can be a breakfast, a mid day snack and a yummy dessert. Hot or cold you know you are eating something delicious and nutritious! It is a recipe from Chef AJ so you know it is also SOS free!
Ingredients:
2 lbs of frozen fruit (your choice) I made mine with a mixed berry and mango.
2 cups oats
1 cup of banana mashed and blended
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. cardamom
Directions:
1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Pour oats into a small bowl and add in the cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom
3. Blend the ripe banana
4. Pour and mix into the oatmeal until fully incorporated.
5. Place the 2 cups of frozen fruit into a 9 inch baking pan.
6.Pour the oatmeal/banana mix on top of the fruit
7. Bake 35-45 minutes.
